Earlier Art
These are some of the earlier things that i have done in the last few years.

1997 Watercolor Painting:
A painting I did in 6th grade art class when our sister city in Japan visited, the writing on the side is my name in Japanese.

1998 Acrylic Painting:
This is one of my first real paintings. It took a long time, i actually started it one year and waited a year or two after to actually finish it. It was also on of the first pieces that i entered in the county fair. I received first place.

1999 Pencil Sketch:
This is a sketch i did in advanced art, i was trying to out do the others in the class hehe.

1999 Oil Painting:
My first oil painting ever. It received first place when i entered art at the county fair the 2nd year.

1999 Painted Ceramic:
A cute little car that i painted. It received first place the first year i entered at the county fair.

1999 Painted Ceramic:
A whale that i painted, there's also another one like this that i painted of two killer whales.

2000 Oil Pastel Drawing:
In this one i was practicing colors and blending, the basics of oil pastels. It received first place in the county fair the second year i entered art.

2000 Oil Pastel Drawing:
This is a drawing i did going by a book example. I received first place on it my second year entering.

2000 Pencil Drawing:
This is a sketch of a city. When i entered it in the county fair i got first place and best of section.

2000 Pencil Sketch:
This is a real quick sketch, 5 second sketch as i call it, it was of my dress for homecoming.

2000 Oil Pastel Drawing:
I was practicing night time colors in regards to reflections and colors.

2000 Pen Sketch:
I did this sketch while looking in a full length mirror that is across for my bed. It was a bit tricky, could erase anything and had to be very still and patient.

2000 Oil Pastel Drawing:
This is a drawing of the lake that I have a cottage at. One summer evening i was walking around there, and i saw a view similar to this and i knew that i just had to draw it.

2000 Oil Pastel Drawing:
This picture kind of speaks for itself, the magic of the moonlight.

2000 Painted Ceramic:
Two of the things i love in one, indians and angels. This one received first place in the county fair.

2000 Painted Ceramic: One of the things i collect. I have several of these cute little indians that i've painted, and more to paint still. I received first place on this set.

2000 Painted Ceramic:
I painted these two for my brother and his girlfriend when they graduated high school.

2001 Pencil Drawing: This is a sketch i did of my oldest cousin.

2001 Pencil Sketch:
This a sketch I did around 12:30 on January 20, 2001. It's a sketch of myself working from a glammar picture i had done.

2001 Pencil Sketch:
This is a sketch I did February 10, 2001. Yes, it's of myself. My sketching techniques still needed some improvement.

2001 Oil Pastel Drawing:
This was one of my first "good" oil pastels that i did in April i believe, i had a great teacher that year, you can see how much i improved. And although he didnt personally teach me, i learned millions from him.

2001 oil pastel drawing:This is a oil pastel I did April 2001, I entered it in the A&E "Make An Impression" student contest. Grand prize was a full paid for 3 day stay in LA, Chicago, or NYC, along with a Savings Bond and gift certificate for art supplies and a Grant for the school's art department.

2001 Oil Pastel:An oil pastel drawing I did for a contest at a local bank. It got first place at the county fair.

2001 Pencil Sketch:
I did this one in March. It was hiding in an old sketchbook of mine.

2001 Oil Pastel Drawing:
I did this one June 15, 2001. It's of a view i always dreamed of seeing, it just seems so peaceful and relaxing. It got first place at the county fair.

2001 Oil Pastel Drawing:
This is an oil pastel drawing that I finish on June 21, 2001. I'm still improving on this same idea. It received first place at the county fair.

2001 Pencil Sketch:
I drew this on June 23, 2001, it's a sketch of one of my friends. This sketch was the beginning of my people drawing practice. It go second place at the county fair.

2001 Pencil Sketch:
This is one of my very good friends that I drew on June 28th, 2001.

2001 Pencil Sketch:
This is a pencil sketch I did June 29th, 2001. It's of a very adorable girl. It received first place at county fair and i entered it in the state fair.

2001 Pencil Sketch:
I did this pencil sketch on July 2, 2001. Most of the sketches i do are from photographs, that insures still subjects and its easier to see reflections and shadows.
